A guide to setting intentions and planting seeds for the future.
New moon rituals are a potent practice for setting intentions and manifesting your dreams. Paul Wagner, a clairvoyant with over 30 years of experience and a devotee of Amma, has helped thousands align with the lunar cycle. He teaches that the new moon is a time for new beginnings, a blank canvas on which to paint your desires.
The new moon marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle, a time of rebirth and new possibilities. It’s a powerful time to turn inward, connect with your heart’s desires, and plant the seeds of intention for the month ahead. The dark sky of the new moon is a fertile ground for creation.
Take time to get clear on what you want to manifest in your life. What are your dreams, goals, and aspirations? Write them down in the present tense, as if they have already happened. For example, instead of saying ‘I want to find a new job,’ write ‘I am grateful for my new, fulfilling job.’
Create a sacred space where you won’t be disturbed. Light a candle, play some soft music, and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Read your intentions aloud, feeling the emotions of having already achieved them. You can also create a vision board to visually represent your goals.
A ritual is a powerful start, but it must be followed by action. In the days and weeks following the new moon, pay attention to synchronicities and opportunities that arise. Take small, inspired steps towards your goals. The universe will meet you halfway when you show your commitment.
